I bought my Jeep in 2004, after getting tired of almost getting stuck while exploring dirt roads with my car.

It's a stock 4-banger, which lacks a lot of power for quick acceleration on the street, but has plenty of power for weeling, is less likely to cause an axle to snap and is easier on the fuel budget, too...

Upgrades I've done include a Rubicon Express 3.5" (closer to 4 or 4.5 in reality) super-flex lift with Rancho RS5000 shocks, 33x12.5" BFG Mud Terrains set on 15x8" wheels, a rear bumper from Cross Enterprises, a (beefy!) Gen-Right gas tank skid plate, a Bestop Safari Bikini top for the summer and a few other odds and ends.
